Salted Caramel Frosting
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. heavy cream
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 c. (2 sticks) plus 2 tablespoons unsalted butter at room temperature
1 tsp. Kosher salt
3 c. confectioners’ sugar
