A balcony in disguise When closed, the CABRIO looks like two roof windows joined together.  All of the materials used in VELUX manufacturing processes are non-hazardous. The wood used to make our skylights comes from 100 percent certified mills.

Instant balcony Integrated banister railings automatically appear when the lower window is opened.

Convenient ventilation When the GDL CABRIO roof window is closed, a ventilation flap can be opened to provide a breath of fresh air ― even if it is raining outside.

Energy efficient glass for added safety and energy efficiency The GDL roof window comes with laminated insulated glass only.

Sunscreening options for optimal light control The GDL balcony roof window is compatible with the following manual sunscreening accessories:
* Venetian Blind – Accurate glare and light control
* Roller Shade – Diffuse the light.

Optional insect screen An optional insect screen is available.

Installation slope The GDL balcony roof window installs on roofs with slopes between 35.25° (8 1/2:12) and 53° (15:12).
